Old Window Ideas

I love finding a fun old window, but what can ya do with a million old windows. If they still have the original glass, I leave them alone and wait for the perfect spot or person to come along. But, what about the ones with broken or cracked panes?? Hang picture frames from them!! Most of the time I have had to build custom-sized frames to fit the opening, but I try to make the inside of the frame a standard size (4x6, 5x7, 8x10).
The frames are hanging by a small cup hook and an
eye screw (I can't remember what they are called) or a ribbon.

Some of them have square frames....if the window is square. Isn't it fun?!

I love the RED one!!
The 4-paned window with the wreath still has all the glass so I just added a wreath.

You can put pictures behind the glass as well.

This is the same window as above...I just switched the hooks to hold the frame horizontally. I had the perfect spot on the wall for the window, and the pictures of my kids happen to be horizontal as well:)

I made these frames for my friend, Colten. He still hasn't attached ribbon to the back of the frame so they can hang from the hook haha. But you get the idea:)
